Welcome to the Preferred Contractor Network
After a storm or other emergency*, your home may have suffered damages that need immediate attention. We partnered with HOMEE, the preferred digital claims marketplaces provider, to offer a Preferred Contractor Network (PCN) of home service providers to help you during this time — and we made it easy for you to work with these licensed, vetted, insured, and trustworthy pros to complete repairs quickly and professionally.
How the claim will be handled
After you file a claim with VYRD, we will contact you, and if appropriate, a HOMEE contractor will contact you. An inspection will be completed regarding your reported property damage. Once the estimate is completed and approved by your adjuster, VYRD will pay HOMEE directly, and you will be responsible to pay your deductible to the assigned contractor.
Services offered:
Emergency Restoration
Water damage restoration, smoke and/or fire mitigation, mold remediation services, tree removal, tarping, board up
Roofing Experts
Roof replacement, roof repairs, emergency board up & tarping, vent installation, skylight replacement, and more
General and Trade Contractors
Flooring, framing, drywall, cabinet replacement and repairs, electrical, painting
And VYRD’s Preferred Contractor Network makes it even easier!
The very BEST way to take advantage of our Preferred Contractor Network (and to save you time and frustration) is to add the Preferred Contractor Endorsement (PCE) to your policy. When you do, you enjoy these benefits:
Premium Discount
5% discount by agreeing to leverage our network of contractors.
Faster Service
By having the PCE, it could reduce the repair timeline, because HOMEE oversees the repair process from the beginning.
VYRD Guarantee
100% of all PCN work comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty for PCE policyholders.
Less Hassle
HOMEE and their service providers coordinate all work with you as VYRD’s policyholder. This includes:
- Scope of repairs
- Making repairs using materials comparable to existing kind and quality (without deduction for depreciation)
- Obtaining permits
- Copies of any required licensure and warranty/guarantee information when applicable.
- Documentation of workers compensation insurance and commercial general liability coverage with limits no less than $1 million
It’s also great to know that VYRD likely will not have to involve the policyholder’s mortgage company as a payee. The only thing the homeowners will be required to do is to pay their deductible directly to the PCN contractor.
Please note that PCE customers who choose to use contractors outside of VYRD’s network may incur additional expenses not covered by the policy.
